In its inaugural year, The Atlanta Global Film Festival celebrates independent filmmaking by providing a platform for filmmakers to showcase their art and voice. In the burgeoning film hub of Atlanta, Georgia, this festival invites filmmakers from around the world to submit their short and feature films across various categories. Selected films will be featured on the festival’s website, with winning films receiving the honor of being screened at a prestigious theater in Atlanta. Join us in the heart of the "New Hollywood of the South" to experience the diverse and vibrant world of independent cinema.

CATEGORIES | AWARDS
Official Selection:
5 films from each category will be chosen as official selections. These films will be featured on the festival homepage with their poster, trailer, and summary, and filmmakers will receive official selection laurels.
Finalists:
Two finalists will be selected from each category. These films will receive finalist laurels, an IMDb review, and inclusion in the official press release announcing the finalists and winners of the ATLGFF. The press release will be distributed across major news outlets, with a link provided to filmmakers to be used for additional exposure.
Winners:
One winner will be chosen from each category (1 feature, 8 shorts). These films will receive winning laurels, a certificate award, an IMDb review, and inclusion in the press release. Additionally, they will be screened at a theater in Atlanta, GA. The winners of Best Short and Best Feature will also receive the Best Picture trophy, presented in person at the theater screening or mailed to the recipient.
